Facility Rental Information
The ground floor contains the public rooms for residents, social members and Banquets. There is a dining room for eating, a living room for socializing, a library with a fireplace, an outer kitchen for resident use and a full kitchen for preparing resident, social member, and banquet meals.
The Resident members consist of both male and females who are affiliated with The Pennsylvania State University, either as Graduate Students or as Faculty/ Staff members.
Social members enjoy outstanding culinary experiences and social activities. Recently renovated meeting rooms and elegant banquet facilities make The University Club perfect for wedding receptions, cocktail receptions and other special occasions.
Special Event Room Rental Fees and Policies
Our Facility is available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with other days available with special permission from the manager.
Caterers must be pre-approved, call for the current list of approved caterers or to discuss the approval process for the caterer of your choice.
A deposit of 50% is required to hold the room and date, with the balance due the day of the event. Cancellations 7 days ahead will receive a full refund. Cancellations with less that 7 days notice will not receive a refund.
Social Club members receive a 25% discount when reserving a room for private use.
Room Capacities:
- Living Room/Library - 75 people
- Dining Room - 100 people
Pricing:
- Library, Living Room and Dining Room - $425 (3 hour minimum)
- Library and Living Room - $225 (3 hour minimum)
- Dining Room - $225 (3 hour minimum)
- Room Rental Fee without food service - $25/hr. (i.e. yoga class or brief meeting)
